Ataque de panico! (Panic Attack!) is a short film describing an
invasion of giant robots. It was made by two men from Uruguay in six
months with $ 300 budget.
A team at the Freie University in Berlin have rigged a car so it can be controlled with an iPhone.
GPS- and Wi-Fi-equipped Spirit of Berlin uses drive-by-wire controls,
with mechanical parts to operate the pedals. On its top, there are
video cameras and laser 3D sensors.
The control connection uses Wi-Fi, and transmits acceleration info to the car.
