Pick 10 album covers. Any 10 album covers.
You can't argue with any of the five on the lower row. (I always had a fondness for Presence, but admittedly that's contrarian.) Top rung: I can think of four better, more iconic Floyd covers than the one they chose, although it is a well-designed image. Blur is fine. P, C, & L always struck me as already being a stamp---everybody in the world loves that cover, and I do too. The Stones is boring---Sticky Fingers (possibly too risque) or Get Your Yo-Yos Out are better picks.
Coldplay don't belong in the Top Ten. It's ugly and stupid. Should have been replaced with: Never Mind The Bollocks/Sex Pistols; A Night At The Opera/Queen; The 1st Stone Roses; Quadrophenia/The Who; In The Court Of The Crimson King/King Crimson; Thick As A Brick/Jethro Tull; or this beauty.
Of course, since these are British stamps, Fly Like An Eagle/Steve Miller Band is not eligible.
